Volunteer: Rotary Assists Shoes 4 The Shoeless
Oct. 28, 2025 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

The Miamisburg Rotary Club is proud to partner with Shoes 4 The Shoeless to bring brand-new shoes and socks to children in need at Bear School (545 School St, Miamisburg) on Tuesday, October 28th from 8:30–11:00 AM.

We’re looking for Rotarian volunteers to help distribute shoes, fit students, and share encouragement during this impactful event. This is a hands-on way to live Rotary’s motto, Service Above Self, and make a real difference in the lives of local kids.

👟✨ Every helping hand ensures a child leaves with not just new shoes, but also joy and confidence.

If you’re available, please sign up to serve — your time and heart will go a long way!

Miamisburg Rotary Club's 65th Annual Pancake Day
Dec. 06, 2025 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

🎉 Join us for a beloved holiday tradition! 🎉

Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 6, 2025, as the Miamisburg Rotary Club hosts its 65th Annual Pancake Day! For our community, Pancake Day is more than just delicious food—it’s a time to gather with friends, kick off the holiday season, and support the many local charities that make Miamisburg a wonderful place to live.

Event Details:
📅 Saturday, December 6, 2025
🕖 7 AM to 12 PM (noon)
📍 Miamisburg High School Commons Area
🍽️ Pancakes and sausages served up by Rotarians and friends!

Pancake Day has been a tradition since 1961, when the Miamisburg Rotary Club, led by Hubert “Hubie” Fields and Dr. Glen Brandon, started this event to bring the community together and raise funds for local causes. Today, it remains one of our largest fundraisers, thanks to the dedication of our Rotarians, sponsors, the Miamisburg High School Interact Club, and volunteers.

Where the Proceeds Go:
Every dollar raised supports local charities and initiatives, including scholarships, youth programs, food assistance, the Miamisburg Historical Society, and more. Pancake Day helps raise around $15,000 each year for organizations like the Dr. Glen Brandon and HV Bear scholarship funds, Children’s Performing Arts, Helping Hands Food Pantry, Club Impact at the Miamisburg Youth Center, and many others.

Come enjoy pancakes, good company, and the spirit of giving back to our community! 🍁🎄

Tame the Flood: From Information Overload to Instant Answers

Mar. 04, 2026 12:00 p.m.

We're all drinking from a firehose of information— documents, meeting notes, videos, websites and hitting us faster than we can process. What if you had a tool that actually read your files for you, remembered the details, and gave you instant answers when you needed them? I'll show you how I use NotebookLM, a free AI research assistant from Google, to work with PDFs, Word docs, text files, images, even audio and video files. It transforms your documents into a searchable, question-answering knowledge base. No coding required, no technical background needed—just a better way to tame the flood of information we all face.
