Resolution of the Miamisburg Rotary Club Charitable Trust Fund and the Miamisburg Rotary Club

A resolution to be reviewed and voted on by the membership of the Miamisburg Rotary Club to approve a contribution from the Miamisburg Rotary Club Charitable Trust Fund for a water feature at the new City of Miamisburg River Front Park.   
 
 
 
Below is a copy of a resolution to be reviewed and voted on by the membership of the Miamisburg Rotary Club to approve a contribution out of the Miamisburg Rotary Club Charitable Trust Fund in an amount of no more than $50,000.00 to provide a water feature at the new City of Miamisburg River Front Park.  The water feature will feature a large Rotary Emblem and be located at the entrance of the park.  This notice is being posted on Friday 26 May 2017 to allow for a minimum of two weeks notification for members to review.  The resolution will be voted on to approve / disapprove at the regular meeting of the Miamisburg Rotary Club on Wednesday 7 June 2017 by the members present at the meeting.  
 
 
                                                JOINT RESOLUTION
                                                              OF
                   THE MIAMISBURG ROTARY CHARITABLE TRUST
                                                           AND
                                 THE MIAMISBURG ROTARY CLUB

RESOLVED:

By vote on June 7, 2017 with a quorum present, and will and passed by a majority of the Miamisburg Rotary Club members present at the June 7, 2017 meeting, be it resolved that the Miamisburg Rotary Charitable Trust hereby allocates a minimum of $25,000 to fund a Rotary children's water fountain (RIVERFRONT PARK WATER FEATURE), with Miamisburg Rotary Emblem, at the City of Miamisburg Riverfront Park; and

Be it further resolved that the City of Miamisburg with the cooperation of the Miamisburg Rotary Club shall apply to Rotary International for Global Grants Matching Funds of an additional $25,000 so that the entire $50,000 project shall be funded through Rotary; and

Be it further resolved that this commitment by the Miamisburg Rotary Club and the Miamisburg Rotary Charitable Trust shall be increased from $25,000 to a total of $50,000 in the event that the Rotary International global grants matching funds of $25,000 are not obtained within the period of one (1) year from the date of this Resolution.
