Miamisburg Rotary Club to Host District 6670's District Grants Seminar

The Miamisburg Rotary Club is proud to be hosting the Rotary District 6670 "District Grants Seminar" on Wednesday, Feb 15, 2017, Details are as follows:

Wednesday February 15, 2017

Event Name: District 6670 Grant Management Seminar

Description: The Grant Management Seminar is designed for Presidents, Presidents Elect and Club Foundation Chairs and/or permanent or temporary grant writers. The major purpose of this seminar for the District is to empower clubs with the capaility to write a grant for a club project that the District Grants Committee can approve. Equally important is that we want to stimulate interest in coming up with ideas for Global Grants wherein we can use District Designated Funds (DDF) and achieve maching dollars from The Rotary Foundation (TRF). Along with Grant approval TRF has certain critical administrative requirements for management of the approved grant. This seminar will cover these requirements. It is important for our clubs to realize that with increased donations to the Annual Fund Share over the last few years the dollars available for District and Global Grants will be higher than recent experience.

Location: Our host club is Miamisburg and the meeting will be held at:
BAUM OPERA HOUSE
15 South First Street 
Miamisburg, OH 45342

The meeting will be conducted by Todd Lindley. Each Club President had Todd's RI biography.

The entrance to the building is on the south side which faces the Famers and Merchants Bank.

Doors open at 5:00 PM. Registration and Networking begin at 5:30.

Drinks and snacks (pizza) will be provided.
